Even in the days before Youtube, when "awesome" wasn't a cliché, people felt the need to do any ridiculous, useless thing in order to garner attention.

Attention versus support or praise? Ok, since that is first result of public exposure, likely most shallow as well.
I'd rather be a nobody.....

Next day, noticing a big issue if this worked at all.
Single track vehicles lean in turns. There is hardly any ground clearance below sewing platform.
Not to mention other three are centered over the frame; the girl would have to stand and lean for right-handers to counteract weight of adult female and cast iron machine frame.
Then, there is significant total weight far above the axles, very difficult to keep anything like a straight line forward. Without traffic lights, stop signs, other vehicles, train tracks and ruts...
