Drive in pull forward get turned around and drive out probably a lot more efficient and safer no to mention faster than trying to either back in or or drive in and have to do a 10 point turn to get turned around.

The guy on the turntable best pull further forward before the rear gets bent.

Wow! And that was back when cars were ca... Heavy.
