Did anyone say what is was they were hauling there? Appears to be one little bundle, at the front of that main platform. Could it really be that heavy?

Or is that the dead head?

Tractor tri-drive or 4 axle tractor.the trailer is called a (3+3)-(3+3)+3+1, having a 3 axle front jeep with long neck 3 axle booster jeep. double neck bed 3+3+3 rear steerable group with pin on single axle powered stinger to help push. total 20 axles. Not 72 wheel rig though it has 78 rims and tires
Steve Engle was a truck driver who was not satisfied with trailers that were available so he started building his own. A long time friend and customer of mine Steve Molenar, in 1998 bought the first (3+3)_(3+3)+3 perimeter beam trailer that Diamond manufacturing made in 1998 it was built in 1996 with 24 ft beams. I made a pair of double web 34ft long beams for him so he could pin the 2 sets together if need be for a total of 58 feet in the well His first load on them was just the 34's but the load was 300 tons
