Yup, that's a good one too! Oh my, Mrs. Peele!

From Pathe News, it never took itself too seriously as it was shown in cinemas for all ages, narrator was Bob Danvers Walker. His voice was great and always had enthusiasm. If you like this sort of thing I found a clip of motorised skates from the same era.

Thanks Olderdan! Great link with all kinds of good stuff. Thanks also for the narrator's name. I remember him as Danvers-Walker as a kid and hearing him a lot through the Pathe media in the sixties. You are right, quite a moral builder during and after the war, kind of a founding father to narration, imho.

Great Skate video too. Busted up at the end with ~ "Army's march on their stomach...don't work that out Mr. Hancock!"

A friend sent me a video a while back with a 33' Packard with a 5th wheel added for parking in tight places and had one of those early narrators. Unfortunately it's too large to post here and not sure where he got it. If I get a chance I might try to convert it to a Gif or low bit rate vid as it's a quite novel invention the provokes thoughts on the design.

Always interesting to see these novel inventions and hear some of these great narrators. Thanks again!
