    Wow, that rides surprisingly high in the water... the top of the wheel wells are still showing. I wonder if it was front wheel drive or 4wd, as that would certainly be useful when crawling back onto land.

    Now I know what I was missing in my youth. Would be the envy of the neighborhood for sure! Would love to know what they used for propulsion.

    I remember seeing the original German import Amphicar www.amphicar.com at the corner drug store in the 1960's. Never saw another one until the car shows much later in life.
