    I have one, and this video makes me feel oooollld. A couple companies have taken up making film packs for them now, exorbitantly priced.

    I have some of these prior to the “sonar” addition, i.e. manual focus.
    Not sure if it’s still “a thing” with the Gen-Z anymore, but it had been “cool” to snap a picture of your friends while out on the town then hand it to them as a “parting gift.” These cameras were built like tanks with the metal ones commanding a higher premium for their great design.

    Most polaroid cameras were built that way; I got a 'Swinger' for a birthday present in '69 (iirc) when I was 12 and it survived me and both my younger brothers. Dad had one from the 50's, I think my mom may still have it stashed away.
