I used it to fraction blood and concentrate the floaties in pool water for microscopic examination. (For curiosity, not real science.)
Honestly having it spinning at ludicrous speeds with no safety guards except a smile is a little terrifying. If I was going to do that sort of thing with any regularity I'd print an enclosed unit instead. "Pin It")
