This 1963 International Harvester Scout 80 build, by brained on JustIH.org, is a great example of a trail/expedition style Scout build, (mostly) completed over six years.

This is a capable but reasonable build, with spring over axle suspension, 33-inch tires, 4.26 gears, and even some nice leather power seats from a Jaguar.

Best of all, the build includes an interesting homemade tool: a gas tank cleaning jig powered by a spinning wheel!
