This stunning 60x60 Oregon shop built by sfeldma on GarageJournal.com falls clearly into the "dream" category. It sits on a mono slab with perimeter footing, has a 16x14 overhead door opening, and is clad in cedar siding.

What's critical here are the overall design choices. The builder entertained trying a pole barn or prefab steel building, but decided on a timeless and classic look, making careful calls all the way from the choice of wood, to the decision to let the cedar siding naturally grey and weather, to the selection of gutters.

Thankfully, the builder designated this giant shop as "a resting place for old trucks".
