This '94 Geo Tracker "Trazor", built by dcastell on Colorado4x4.org, is proof of what you can accomplish with a little money, and a lot of skill and drive.

dcastell started out with a $1,000 used Tracker with 112,000 miles on it. The goal was not to build it for rock crawling (despite the great rock crawling shots shown later), but "fast fun on logging roads and around the cabin".

Like a lot of 4x4 guys, he's got plenty of experience, but had never built this particular model, and it didn't phase him. Also like a lot of 4x4 guys, he does an amazing job on the more complex fabrication, customization, and fitment, but admits to being perplexed by the wiring work!

The build comes together very nicely, with great detail, and the rig ends up performing well on the rocks in Moab. What's great about this one is that it provides proof of concept for an inexpensive homemade side-by-side UTV equivalent using a Tracker.
