    Two x-y-z live tools with a sub-spindle. Yup. Neat, but it's a hand coding nightmare. No software package is smart enough to write the toolpaths for that machine. You'll have to write the g-code yourself. I bought a 7 axis mill-turn and honestly it was a mistake. I should have just got a 5 axis because the CAM software can actually handle that.

    I'm not sure what would be drilled with that, but it looks kind of fragile.

    Is it a twist drill or is it some kind of auger? Because you're right, if that's brass it's probably not the best material for a drill. Unless you're drilling cheese.
