8 ft level

I needed a long level to get the sand level for a project.
the Simplest thing to do was to use a 2 ft level taped to a length of 1 1/2" alum. sq tubing
I bought this fiber plastic level several years ago and have probably used it 2 or 3 times it is a pretty good level but not much use for working with steel so Why not make a dedicated 8 ft level out of it by taping it to the sq tube with 2inch wide pipe wrapping tape
