    9" spade drill

In the horizontal earth boring world some tooling for older machines is no longer available or if it is it will be 6 months lead time to get replacements.

If you remember a couple of weeks ago, I made a 4-conduit chute to plow in the conduits for fiber cable. Now they need to cross under a road but the largest bit available was 6 inches,
made then one that is 9 inches Out of 5/8: tempered stainless and hard faced the digging edges
Using a worn out 4" duck bill bit for the hole locations and bend angle

I use gas shieldedwith C)2 .045 generic Stoody clone, well private label at least @200 amp 27V 50IPM You better put it where you want it because tht only grinding disk that will do anything to it are the thin zip disk and they self-consume

Very interesting Frank. Years ago I tried out as a welding testing QC job at Postle Industries here in Cleveland area...they have some crazy hard solid and flux core wires like that...very expensive now! Thanks for the reply.

I wonder if wire EDM will cut it.

Wire EDM will vaporize most metals since the extremely high voltage arc discharge can reach 10,000c the flow of deionized water flushes away the micro sized chips.
