That is a LOT of paint!! Do they chemically strip it? Wonder what they use!!!

I saw an interview of the CEO of this airline, wishing they never purchased the 380. Where I worked we called them ScareBus (all models). Over automated, taking pilot authority away from basic flying of aircraft. As well the side stick, has no aerodynamic feedback, letting the pilot understand the forces being driven to the surfaces, is important in controlling the airframe. But it mostly works, via flight system augmentation systems (e.g yaw damper for unstable aircraft dynamics, or MCAS (on B737DASH8) for automatic pitch trim system correction of engine thrust vector on center of lift).
