Adjustable Depth Of Cut Stop for 4 X 6 Horizontal/Vertical Bandsaw

Sometimes I want to set a specific depth of cut on my bandsaw. This attachment lets me do it even while the saw is running.

    Rick,

I like your depth adjustment modification. Also, thank you for the way you added hose clamps and the straps to your lathe tailstock drill chuck to prevent it from pulling out during heavy cuts. I had the same problem and finally solved it by buying an inexpensive MT3 fine cut Morse reamer. The lathe was built in 1987 and over time the tailstock MT3 hole was worn out of shape in the front-end. The fine cut MT3 reamer shaved off just a few thousands of an inch to make the entire length of the tailstock internal MT3 even from front to back. Don't cut off too much of the internal Morse taper material or the ejection of the MT3 tools won't work. That can be fixed by adding a very small extension to the tailstock bumper.

    Regards,
    Paul
