Back when I worked for Illinois Central Gulf Railroad in the Rail Detector Department I was able to see up close a big derailment. It was kinda spooky seeing the heavy cars pilled up.

Reminds me of the derailment of 39 cars of a Union Pacific train near Picacho, AZ in 2014 due to a microburst.
