Aluminum Muffins!

I was out in the backyard melting and casting things, and at the end of the day set about melting soda cans and pouring it into a muffin pan to make little ingots so I can use them later when I need aluminum for things, and one of my neighbors heard the furnace and asked me what I was cooking! So I told him, "muffins!". He was rather confused!

Convenient equal size, drossed and clean, small enough to melt promptly. But less resilient than Jake & Elwood's Rubber Biscuits...

Didn't notice this was a video of muffin-making. What I really liked, the crucible tong, and it popped up as a feature suggestion.
