amateur woodcarver

I am a semi-retired woodworker/assembler who is an amateur woodcarver. I can't afford a lot of tools so I usually make what I can before I break down and buy them. Most times I just need the right nudge to get it right and sometimes it never comes. I like to chainsaw carve mostly but when logs are scarce I hand carve just about anything I can. No specific tools just yet but that will change shortly. Also, I don't get on the computer very often so if it takes awhile for me to answer then I apologize up front and hope I don't offend anyone. Thank You.

Thanks for the welcome Jon. I have a few walking sticks I am finishing up but my next large build will be kitchen cabinets followed by tiling the kitchen floor. YeeHaw.

Keep us posted. I think I'm going to pull up the hardwood in our kitchen and lay down some tile, maybe with some in-floor heating.
