I see his key-way cutting skills did not stand the test of time! His solution rather appalled me, welding the shaft at both ends to the gear hub! :-(
Severe thumbs down for that! His one bolt fastening of the electric motor, was right up there with Heath Robinson, too!
His lack of materials lead to a couple of design anomalies... see the bottom of the gearbox mounts...
The guy that designed that big splitting wheels name was "Lefty".
A kindling splitter possibly, but log splitter is perhaps a rather ambitious description. And is scares me too.

I found one. It was in a dentist chair that someone dropped off at the township recycling bins. Which are for can, glass bottles, card board and plastic bottles.Quote:
