If working at a bench having a dedicated rest for the small grinders is a nice idea If working in a booth screwing a steel plate on the back of the grinder and having a 90 lb magnet mounted on the wall of the booth works well also. or just hang it by the dick or brush on the top of the wall NOT still spinning of course.
I've known some guys who had gone so far as to bend a piece of welding rod into a half circle then tack weld it to 2 of the screws that mount the head to the body to use as a hang loop. and have a hook bolted to their magnet, this works well when working up on steel structures for pipeline work we never worried about what to do with the grinders that was what helpers were for.
