    APAC Mechanical Garage Jack

    I've had this APAC mechanical garage jack for a while and have pulled most of it apart except for
    APAC Mechanical Garage Jack-2016-03-27-20.06.21.jpg
    not sure if it comes apart or if not.

    I'm currently trying to work out what colors they came out in

    Hi Albert,

    Welcome!

    A quick search showed them in blue, red, and orange. Can you find any remaining color chips on the jack that might give an indication of its original color? Maybe a serial number than can be run against manufacturing records? Looks like a neat restoration project.

    Ah, I see your dilemma. The eternal restoration vs. "restomod" question!

    It's definitely one of those YMMV situations. I tend to fall in the strict restoration camp (especially with vehicles), but I respect those who go the other way.

    No reason not to go with yellow if you like it better. Go for it - and post some pics of your progress!

    I do have an old bearing press which was/is a sky blue
    I'd like to restore that as well so I might go with that blue.
    What is YMMV?
    I don't know whether to go blue or yellow
