Who is paying for this, how much?
During the days when Mr. Harrison and his son built their 2 clocks and the large watch that finally gave the world a reliable method to find both the Latitude and Longitude of any place on earth, the government of England paid for the clock. And the English Navy flourished. Mr Harrison's first clock was paid for by Mr. Harrison's employer at the farm where Harrison lived and worked. It was a wooden clock on the roof of the barn. Mr Harrison invented the "Harrison grasshopper escapement" for this wooden clock that was also used in today's Astro-skeleton clock. Mr Harrison was a carpenter.
I would not be surprised to find some government today is paying for the Astro-skeleton clock.
