That's an old through-hole pick and place machine. Looks like a dinosaur compared to modern SMD machines.

Definitely, but still an impressive machine for the day, considering hitting the wire holes to clipping leads. I've seen complete lines from etch to via's to HS pick and place from reel's to soldering double sided boards, all in one line. Also one for placing and Potting COB's.
