    Might be useful in a production facility but doesn't seem right for a maintenance or home shop. It's an unnecessarily complicated design that introduces many new failure points into a design that, in manual form, works well and has done so for hundreds of years. How often, in your home shop, have you become exhausted by opening and closing your vise?

    I would like to see him clamp a walnut in it and through drill 3/8" without spinning the nut out of the vise or crushing the nut.

    ha,ha, I was thinking the same thing I don't need another nussknacker.
    However, add a foot switch and I can see it being useful when trying to hold 2 or more parts of an assembly and needing to close the vice. Probably not walnuts
