Norton, Spot on! Great Clarke clip as well. I've been a longtime fan of the Clark and Dawe stuff, and only recently found the old Fred Dagg stuff. Cheers

It is fascinating to see how resourceful people are. I know that I learned a lot while working with a mission in a remote region of the Caribbean. I also observed that in reality people are very much the same every where; some resourceful, some not, some happy no matter how bleak their situation, some grumpy no matter how much they've got, some givers, some taker.

Good videos, both post #1 and #2

I suspect that a gas stove will not impress this pinion rack.

Right or wrong in regard to the metallurgical characteristics, he got it very straight with what he had to work with. Not that it counts for much, but I am impressed. I have seen a lot of videos showing much LESS skills using all of the tools and equipment anyone could want.
