    Back in the Saddle

It has been many years since I have had use of a shop, too many years! I own a home now and feel having a shop would be a blessing so I am converting my Living Room into MY SHOP! That may sound funny but I do not relish the idea of setting up and tearing down every time I want to make something. The extra bedroom is needed in case I have guest. The washroom is too small, leaving only one room available. Oh! BTW! I live alone and I would not advise anyone with a spouse to try this at their home unless they have a very liberal minded spouse.

Well, that's me in a "Nutshell". I have a way of being "Unique", some may say "Strange".

Oh, I don't know if you are that *unique*. I use my spare room as a shop, and I rebuilt a Briggs on my kitchen table. By the way, a dishwasher makes a great parts cleaner. Being single does help.

Yes dishwashers do a good job on parts cleaning, I have a counter top one in my workshop. The one in the house is me.

You are better off with a dish washer than a partner lol. (only joking I am very lucky with my partner she has a lot to put up with)
I do a lot of cycling and when I was single the parts of the bike use to be so shinny after coming out of the dishwasher. I also read somewhere you can cook fish in a dish washer? (I wouldn’t put my bike parts or detergent in with it or even dirty dishes for that matter.)
    Food for thought

Dishwashers are great for washing base ball caps and dirty socks. never tried to cook fish in one I'd be afraid I couldn't get the smell out of my caps
