There are many artists that do some very fine work, and spend hours and hours, and is truly phenomenal work.
This "artist" took 5 mins to duct tape a regular banana on a wall, and people went nuts for it. Talk about a group of fools.... all of them. I don't care that the previous ones went for $120k and $150k, more fools there too.
It didn't take skill, knowledge or talent. I fail to see anything that made that extraordinary.
The funny part is that they keep replacing the banana. The winning bidder gets a certificate of authenticity, a roll of duct tape, and detailed instructions on taping a banana to a wall.
