I like well-done art... but this is just crap and ridiculous. Some/most of the modern art is just crap. Someone needs to call ******** on this before it goes any where.
If any of us turned that in as art in a HS art class, we'd fail, and rightly so.
There are many artists that do some very fine work, and spend hours and hours, and is truly phenomenal work.
This "artist" took 5 mins to duct tape a regular banana on a wall, and people went nuts for it. Talk about a group of fools.... all of them. I don't care that the previous ones went for $120k and $150k, more fools there too.
It didn't take skill, knowledge or talent. I fail to see anything that made that extraordinary.
