Great idea and it is on my list to try. Also, what do you use the small cylinder and post for? These are the parts just showing in the upper right corner of the second photo.

Hay Paul, that is a screw vise for a stop so I can do multi cuts the same.

I really like the useful band saw ideas. I plan to incorporate some of them, Capt.
