    Bandsaw Blade Identification

To eliminate the need to measure blade width and count the TPI, my wood bandsaw blades have tags to identify them. Key tags are attached to the blades with a loop of nylon string. The tags indicate width, TPI, minimum radius of cut for that particular blade and the length of the blade. When I install the blade on the bandsaw the tag is hung from the tracking adjustment knob. This way I can see the installed blade’s information at a glance.
