Ahh, the Toronado, famed as the lowest gas mileage of any US model IIRC the 1970 model got something like 12 MPG, stock.

That car needs no “cosmetic surgery” from George Barris, or anyone else. The Tornado is one of the 10 most beautiful production cars in American history, at least according to famous car aficionado, Jay Leno, who famously reengineered the entire drivetrain of his Tornado into a rear wheel drive, 500+ Horsepower beast, but did so without touching anything on its exterior, or interior.
