I guess so. But I would want the spigot closer to the cup to lessen the spillage, a locating containing ring to keep the cup from sliding off the tray and metered flow to shut off the water at 2/3ds full. maybe even a timed medicine dispenser for someone partially bed ridden and required to take their meds at certain times. So this might also entail an alarm clock with multiple programable alarm settings built into the lamp as well
