    FYI, gentlemen, I can confirm from personal experience that this one correctly belongs in the "Don't Show Your Wife" category. Although, in that regard, it will be hard to beat machiningfool's retracting faucet:

    Not really my style; too ornate, too spinny, and I don't like the whole flat-log-rounds aesthetic. Still cool.

    Agree about style, and would not want to come off some stairs with trifocals to that as a landing. But still pretty with a lot of work to pull off correctly and fill in the end grain details so elegantly...spiral looks to be Proper Geometry although a bit flattened at 11 O'clock. /\/\/\/\ could be parallax from the trifocals though.

    The spiral pattern makes my eyes bleed just looking at the picture can't imagine having that in my house and have to look at it every time I walked into the room.
