    Ol' Matt Groening was a mere panel comic artist. Then a couple minutes cartoon inserted into a network show.
    Now worth ~$500 million net, and Simpsons franchise at ~$600. Entertaining us since the 80's. It's a big crew and production, but they've done a good job of conserving the premise all along.
