    Not properly balanced for for sure. Tongue should have dropped to the pavement as soon as it came off the hitch. So many things wrong. I feel bad for the poor boat to be abused like that!!!

    I have seen balls come loose from the hitch and the safety chains saved the trailer, and everyone else.

    Yes, and all the more for my reasoning of liking slightly more tongue load in my trailers. But I don't try to pull a bale of hay with a pissant of a vehicle either. I also use a load equalizing hitch when pulling my heavier bumper pull trailers.
