This 42-foot cruiser, made of Huon Pine, was originally built by Halvorsen Gowland in Sydney, Australia. It was passed around among various owners until it fell into the capable hands of its current restorer Elliott on AustralianBoatRestoration.blogspot.com.

Boat enthusiasts generally appreciate a wooden boat, and that appreciation is doubled when it's an old wooden boat. Building a new boat is hard enough; restoring an old one is a true challenge.
