    It looks like Forty Acre Bog in Lake Chippewa, Wisconsin. They do this every once in awhile. Could be wrong. Probably am.

    Can't they just blast it into small pieces and sink it? Probably not an environmentally friendly solution but wouldn't it protect property owners and bridges and eliminate residents and boat owners from unnecessary damage and wear and tear on their personal equipment?
