More than mere threading, that's thread rolling, basically a knurling process. The bolt is pre-headed by impact [hex or socket] and body is undersize finished diameter. Dies have slight incline to squeeze progressively and maintain pitch diameter, an important detail combined with material to produce graded fasteners. Rolling raises metal to form threads, preserving and strengthening lengthwise metal grain structure, imparting finish mechanically superior to cut threads, in a fractional amount of time. Smooth clean thread flanks especially near roots and crests, contribute to better torquing, a real consideration Grade 5 and higher.

Few statements are more true or organized. That ''feature fascination'' term rings with me big time. Applies to many capital expenditures.
I avoid salespeople and promotion style advertising like the plague, until I'M ready. Is it worldwide, tendency of such with the least to offer have to include an elegant personal photograph in ads and business cards? And upon arrival at sales lot, do they all descend like flies? If they grab the reins; deal goes downhill fast. That one in patent leather belt and shoes with polyester-looking outfit heading my way? Time to disappear.
Look at what's wrong first in products; when list reaches too high a percentage of good features, keep your money.
Thanks Coupleder11T. Wherever you are located, good to know the brigade of thoughtful consumerism exists to aid others.
