Bowl Lathe

Hi,

I am Stanley and I woodwork and do some metal work. My most recent home tool project is a lathe that I can turn bowls on. I made it large and heavy to handle heavy chunks of wood to rough out into large bowls. It is reversible and has one side with an bed and center and the other side I can do outboard turning and can turn large platters with a free standing tool rest. It works for me......

I am interested in others who might have made bowl lathes. I will have to take pictures to post at a later time.
