A good, attractive design if the needle file is held like a larger file when in use, i.e., the whole hand grasps the handle.
A lot of work done with needle files is precision work done with the file held with the fingertips. For that a thinner handle of a lighter material would be more suitable; something like 5/16" diameter aluminum. Two flats on the handle to index files that have a flat side would also be useful.
