    Knuckle dusters seem to have some sort of strange appeal to wannabe tough guys (and gals). Type "knuckle dusters" into Google Images and you'll see an amazing set of variants on the design.

    At the old Whites truck-stop on IH 81 the owner had a truly nice antique firearms & hand weapons museum in the corridor between the fuel desk and the restaurant. In the display case there was one of those knuckle duster revolvers Near it was a WWI trench knife bayonet which had the knuckle grip
