No judgement here. But that does look like a very stupid thing to do.

Thats what people pay to see though.
I ran into a guy at the store a while back I used to know 50 some years ago, He used to play just about every kind of sport there was in high school. He is a few years younger than me, but the way he was getting around reminded me of a man 20 or 30 years older that he should have been.
I didn't recognize him but after he started talking I figured out he was the little brother of a guy I went to school with.
Bradly how ya been, how's William getting along these days?
William died of a freak accident playing Football in college he said.
I hadn't known since I never followed sports and never kept in close contact with about all of my school mates.
So here is Bradly explaining he is recovering from his 5th knee replacement, had, had a hip replaced, his left was full of pins 2 ribs removed 3 kidney surgeries from being dislocated his back broken twice his spleen removed, he named off several other surgeries.
I asked if he had been in a lot of car wrecks or why so many stays in the hospital.
Nope no bad car wrecks, just football, basketball, track and rodeoing.
I looked at him and thought to myself and people pay to watch guys like you get hurt because you were not smart enough to quit while you were ahead.
Never try to tell me it can't be done
When I have to paint I use KBS products

Once upon a time I owned a set of spurs my adoptive uncle Al won at the 1902 Calgary Stampede. Left them with my dad, as I was wandering the world, and never got them back. Uncle Al quit bull riding after he got gored, and they removed about 30 yards of his intestines, if I'm remembering the story correctly. I heard it in the early 60's, so I'd have been under 10yo, but IIRC now, 30 yards would be nearly all of them... Wish I could remember his last name, then maybe I could look him up. Though I've checked their site and they don't seem to have photos that old or rosters of the riders & events. Yep, even Uncle Al thought that was stupid, but he was young...

John Dutton was at the rodeo with his friend, watching the bull riders. His friend said 'I'd like to meet the first guy that thought it was a good idea to ride a bull'.
John Dutton said 'I'd like to meet the second guy'.
