bushing removal tool

Sometimes you have a bushing that is in a tough place to press out, sometimes you don't even have a press. I will admit this is not my idea, but I thought it would be good to share the tool idea for others that have not seen or heard of this method.

Great video and reminder of this method. Looks like you are working on a lathe quick change gear lever. What is the make and model?

I have an atlas th54. I picked up a pretty much destroyed qc54 for $250. Parted out some things and made $100 profit. Now I am repairing the gearbox and will fit it to my lathe.

Cheap but tried and tested. Took less than 30 seconds to remove the bushing. Thanks for sharing, Steve.

Sometimes this is the easiest way to remove a bushing, if you tried with a press I bet it would be harder and take more components. Thanks for watching.
