they wouldn't let you on a plane with it because it could be a weapon

Why would you need to carry it on a plane, they have what they call seats, if you can call them that for you sit in, so they say. check wit your suitcase.

you have to wait to get to the plane before you can sit in one of their seats, what are you going to do, throw it on the floor just before you get onboard?

They would deal with it like they do with "walkers", leave it at the door and the crew will stow it until you exit.
