Why, always 100 excited voices, 5 signalmen offering inconsistent directions, and of two planks they don't match in stiffness?

Have I become so jaded that I always watch these expecting it to end in disaster....or is it just this site?

All they had to do was..."everybody shut the fark up!!"

Now!...everybody climb on to the port side of the boat until we are at dock level then just push the car off.

That was the most painful thing to watch, but I must say the highpoint for me was when they decided to use what appears to be a bottle of something flammable as a brace for their makeshift gangway. That way, when the car falls and lands on five or six of them, they'll be granted a quick passing by explosion, rather than lingering on the hot pavement.

The thing I noticed was even though several were trying to add uncoordinated guiding directions from each of their vantage points. Before they even attempted to drive the car off of the boat, they knew enough to find long enough planks to have all 4 wheels on the planks. Someone in their group had probably experienced what can and almost always will happen loading or unloading a vehicle on a ramp that is not secured to the boat if only half of the wheels are on the ramp while traversing, braking, acceleration or movement of the boat as the weight changes is going to cause the ramps to do unwanted things.
Finding 2 long planks with the exact same strength throughout their length is equally as difficult even if both are milled from the same tree.
Never try to tell me it can't be done

Especially when they don't appear same thickness, unsure more so on width. A lot of deflection on right side (driver or passenger?) for a couple hundred pounds off center.

Yep, but could have been all they could find so made do with what they had.
All things considered the end result turned out to be their goal, car off of boat and not damaged.
