Car door saddle for floor jack

I made this saddle so that I can use my floor jack to support a car door for removal or hinge repair.
It is a piece of 3" channel iron approximately 30" long. It has foam covered uprights and cross brace to protect the painted door surface. I use a nylon strap to secure the door to the saddle.
