Obviously set up. Never looked out the side door window.
had it happen to me on a freeway in Queensland - 1994 mirage at 100kph. I did the same as this gyu, bobbed down and looked through the gap at the bottom of the windscreen... thankfully happened on a straight section of road, but I reckon opening a window would have cost me time, and taken one of my hands off the wheel.
The Renal Clitoris (drive like a 'unt) had a reputation for doing this, poor assembly and too many wearing plastic parts and bang no vision.
