Car ramp mod.
I was given these car ramps as a gift, they work well enough but I've always questioned the strength of the stamped steel design, as an extra precaution I've installed a plywood base essentially to hold a solid 4" x 4" block in position under the wheel, it's a cheap and easy mod that gives peace of mind.

That's a great idea, the extra safety factor leaves you free to concentrate on your work.

Thanks Ken and DIYer, as the saying goes better safe than sorry.
