24 years in the USAF pretty much cured me of wearing hats. That and leaving the Stetson with the silver and turquoise hat band my dad made in a car I had to leave in the wee hours of the night one dark night in Georgia. Car was gone when we went back for it. Hope whoever got it took good care of it, but I suspect it wound up in a pawn shop somewhere.
