Cast Aluminum Faceplate For Lathe

Howdy y'all! New supporter here. Love this stuff. Anyway, for my own introduction I'd like to put forth one of my builds.

Being able to cast your own tools is a real gift. This was a faceplate I made for my small craftsman lathe. I had intended there to be slots through it but that didn't work out.

Initial casting. You can see I used the pouring sprue as the MT2 beginning:
